All the pictures of Dennis are for my picturing the "other " assignment...as I approached a homeless man on one occasion and a interesting looking woman on another occasion and was refused both times. I think for the purposes of the assignment, that was enough of approaching someone I might not ordinarily feel comfortable approaching! And asking your photography professor, has its own level of intimidation, especially when he concurs with you that you are technologically challenged! But no, Dennis was quite gracious and helpful!Dennis coached me in taking pictures closer. I find that the immediacy and intimacy in this one invites the viewer into this pensive place...
